What You Will Do
- Own product definition and roadmap for your areas of responsibilityDefine clear problem statements, success metrics, and product requirements for one complex or multiple moderately complex product surfaces, and maintain a 2–3 quarter roadmap that aligns with division and company strategy.
- Drive discovery informed by customer and market insightPartner with customers, field teams, and internal stakeholders to deeply understand user needs, security pain points, and market trends, turning them into clear product hypotheses and prioritized opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional execution from concept to launchPartner with Engineering, Design, Data, and GTM teams to scope solutions, make tradeoffs, manage timelines, and ensure features launch with high quality and on time.
- Collaborate on product strategy and positioningContribute to product strategy for your domains, influencing how we sequence investments, differentiate in the market, and tell a compelling value story to customers and the field.
- Champion metrics, experimentation, and continuous improvementDefine and track product KPIs (adoption, engagement, retention, incident reduction, etc.), analyze outcomes, and drive data-informed iterations to improve customer value and business impact.
- Partner closely with GTM and customer-facing teamsWork with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Support to ensure successful launches, clear enablement, and tight feedback loops from the field back into the roadmap.
- Leverage AI and modern tooling for speed and clarityUse AI-native tools (e.g., ChatGPT/Claude, v0, analytics platforms) to accelerate research, documentation, prototyping, and decision-making, setting a strong execution and craft bar for the team.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3+ years of product management experience in software, preferably in B2B SaaS or other technical domains.
- Proven experience working on highly technical products, collaborating closely with engineering teams, and reasoning about technical tradeoffs and constraints.
- Demonstrated ability to own a product area end-to-end: synthesizing customer feedback, defining requirements, prioritizing a roadmap, and driving execution across at least one full product or major feature lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, define success metrics, and make well-justified decisions using both qualitative and quantitative inputs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively with Engineering, Design, and GTM partners, and presenting clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High ownership, attention to detail, and operational excellence across planning, documentation, and execution.
- A growth mindset and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with a bias toward learning, iteration, and continuous improvement.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise SaaS / B2B environments, especially with security, infrastructure, or platform products.
- Prior experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or adjacent domains (e.g., identity, posture management, email security).
- Background as a software engineer or other deeply technical role, or equivalent hands-on experience with complex technical systems.
- Experience building platform capabilities (e.g., RBAC, notifications, shared services, extensible APIs) that are consumed by multiple product teams or customer personas.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, analytics platforms, Gong, Salesforce, and modern AI/UX prototyping tools.
