- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, manage, and develop a global presales organization.
- Establish a high-performance culture focused on accountability and collaboration.
- Develop standardized presales methodologies and playbooks.
- Partner cross-functionally across GTM, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
- Customer Engagement & Value Storytelling
- Deliver compelling presentations demonstrating Aera’s business value.
- Lead technical and business discovery sessions with senior stakeholders.
- Support Sales in strategic pursuits and competitive cycles.
- Ensure consistent delivery of Aera’s value proposition globally.
- Translate technologies for the business so business and non tech people understand and value what it is and how they use it.
- Solution Design & Technical Translation
- Understand the sales cycle and identify and communicate what presales strategy is going to help win.
- Translate customer requirements into actionable technical specifications.
- Oversee discovery, qualification, and scoping processes.
- Advise Sales and Product on customer needs and solution feasibility.
- Demo Strategy & Delivery Excellence
- Own the global demo strategy, including assets, templates, and environments.
- Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of custom demos.
- Improve demo development efficiency and scalability.
- Choose and build the right assets and the right team to increase both productivity and win rate.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Revenue Enablement
- Contribute to RFP responses, solution positioning, and competitive strategy.
- Provide structured product feedback to Product and Engineering.
- Partner with Marketing on messaging and technical content.
About You
- 8–10+ years presales or solution engineering experience in enterprise SaaS, analytics, or BI.
- Proven ability to convert technical concepts into business value messaging.
- Experience leading global presales or solution consulting teams.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive engagement skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Ability to travel locally and globally (up to 30%) with moderate (2 weeks') notice.
