  • As a PCBA Technician at Astranis, you'll be working in a fast paced environment supporting avionics, power, and payload systems. You'll be building and testing a wide variety of circuit boards, harnesses, and other test equipment. You'll work on R&D and production systems with the engineering teams, debugging whichever issues show up that day.
  • Rework, assemble, and debug printed circuit board assembly's (PCBAs)
  • Inspect incoming boards to IPC-610 Class 2/3 standards
  • Apply, remove, and rework conformal coating, staking, and other polymeric adhesives
  • Lead form components to match engineering footprints and drawings
  • Work with cross functional engineering team to support new developments
  • Collaborate with design engineers to develop and document future activities
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience working hands-on as a technician in the aerospace, automotive, or similar industries
  • Electrical rework and soldering skills (0201 components)
  • Wire crimping and harness assembly
  • Familiarity with precision calibrated tools (calipers, torque wrenches, etc) for enclosure assembly
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Must be onsite 5 days a week
  • A.S. electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering technology or equivalent technical programs
  • J-STD-001 certification
  • Experience working in a clean room environment
  • Experience working with electrical schematics and PCB design files, especially in Altium
  • Experience working with EE bench test equipment (power supplies, multimeters)
  • Advanced soldering and rework skills (BGA or similar high density packages)
