Job requirements
- Cloud Engineers with strong hands-on expertise in AWS and Terraform to support the migration of applications to AWS and ensure the development, implementation, and maintenance of standardized cloud patterns.
- The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, application deployment processes, and modern DevSecOps practices.
- Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Engineering & Migration
- • Lead and support migration of on-prem or cloud-native applications to AWS.
- • Design and implement scalable, secure, and reusable cloud patterns and best practices. • Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, following modular and version‑controlled standards. Deployment Automation & CI/CD
- ○ Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools (GitHub Actions, AWS Code pipelines, AWS Code build etc.).
- ○ Implement Blue/Green and Rolling Deployment strategies for zero‑downtime releases. ○ Automate dependency updates and address security vulnerabilities. DevSecOps & Frameworks
- ○ Apply automated code refactoring and modernization
- ○ Integrate and enforce DevSecOps practices, security scans, and compliance checks within pipelines.
- ○ Collaborate with development teams to improve build, deployment, and operational efficiency. Operational Excellence
- ○ Contribute to cloud governance using tagging standards, cost optimization, security controls, and reliability best practices.
- ○ Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure components, deployment processes, and cloud patterns.
- ○ Work in agile teams and collaborate closely with developers, architects, and platform engineering teams.
- Required Skills & Experience
- ○ 3–8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps roles.
- ○ Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including compute, networking, storage, IAM, and security.
- ○ Proficiency in Terraform, including writing reusable modules and managing state.
- ○ Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and deployment workflows.
- ○ Knowledge of modern deployment strategies like Blue/Green, Rolling, or Canary deployments.
- ○ Experience with Git-based workflows and version control best practices. Preferred Qualifications
- ○ AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.).
- ○ Knowledge of containerization
- ○ Knowledge of cloud security standards and compliance frameworks.
- ○ Exposure to SRE practices and observability tooling. Soft Skills
