What You’ll Do
- Automation & Process Improvement: Audit existing manual release workflows and aggressively transition them into repeatable, automated Jenkins pipelines to minimize human intervention and error.
- Build & Branch Coordination: Manage and organize build processes and branch access across multiple development streams to ensure code integrity and alignment between groups
- Collaborative Governance: Partner with Development and Quality Assurance stakeholders to design and execute a robust, scalable test and release process.
- Deployment Operations: Partner with the Technical Operations team during live release activities to ensure stability and success.
- Build Automation: Create and manage repeatable, automated deployment processes for both internal and production environments to minimize manual intervention.
- Continuous Integration: Collaborate with Software and QA Engineers to ensure build requirements—including daily builds, CI pipelines, and code quality metrics—are consistently met.
- Package Integrity: Rigorously test upgrade packages to ensure seamless transitions for end-users.
- Issue Resolution: Act as a central facilitator to troubleshoot and resolve complex deployment problems alongside Development, QA, and Tech Ops teams.
- Repository Management: Oversee the maintenance and integrity of the code repository to support a clean and efficient development workflow.
Requirements
- Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience in release engineering or related DevOps responsibilities for an organization with large, complex applications.
- Methodologies: Solid understanding of Agile, release management tools, and DevOps best practices.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient knowledge of Linux and the ability to develop scripts for automating routine tasks.
- Tooling & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), cloud infrastructure (AWS), and source code version control systems (Git).
- Process Automation: Proven track record of identifying manual technical bottlenecks and developing automated solutions to improve efficiency
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, involving stakeholders when necessary.
- Detail-Oriented Coordination: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage branch access and coordinate build movements across various stakeholders
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Nice to Have
- SaaS Background: Experience working within a high-growth SaaS company.
- Scripting Expertise: Proficiency in languages such as Python, Groovy, Perl, or Shell.
- Advanced Automation: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) or containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Compensation
- Base pay: $55,000 - $110,000
- The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
