Tasks and Responsibilities
- Customer Delivery
- • Plan and execute intermediate localization workflows, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- • Independently manage Translation Memory (TM) setup and optimize localization tools for efficiency.
- • Develop basic scripts to automate routine localization tasks.
- • Assist in designing and implementing new processes and improvements in collaboration with senior team members.
- Quality Assurance
- • Conduct thorough QA checks to ensure linguistic and functional accuracy of localized products.
- • Monitor and report on localization quality metrics and suggest improvement measures.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex technical localization issues.
- Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing
- • Provide guidance and support to junior team members on localization tools and processes.
- • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for defined tasks.
- • Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure effective delivery of large-scale localization projects.
Skills and Knowledge
- Proficiency in using localization tools like Trados, Passolo, Memsource/Phrase, XTM Cloud, or Memoq.
- Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a global environment.
- Review and improve standard operating procedures.
- Analyse and scope file engineering requirements to deliver localization projects.
- Manage work offers in an online dashboard and self-manage capacity and utilization to ensure greater than 90% on-time delivery performance.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute of higher education, or, Associates degree plus 1+ year work experience in a technical or engineering role.
- 2+ years of experience in technical, project management, or IT/support roles.
