Key Responsibilities
- Apply agile development practices and define architecture models, coding standards, and development guidelines.
- Design and implement processes for development, testing, monitoring, and change management.
- Collaborate with product teams to manage technical scope, deliverables, and prioritization.
- Identify strategic technical debt, perform cost/benefit analysis, and recommend priorities.
- Champion scalability, reliability, performance, usability, and overall product quality.
- Delegate tasks effectively and proactively remove blockers for the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on expertise with Swift and SwiftUI.
- Senior-level experience leading iOS development, teams, and architecture (typically 8+ years, though the description does not specify).
- Deep knowledge of data structures, system design, design patterns, API design, and mobile architectures (MVP/MVVM).
- Experience with declarative UI, Git, and DevOps practices.
- Full-stack background is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud services, GraphQL, and Firebase is a plus.
- Fluent English communication (written and spoken).
- Passion for news and ability to introduce new ideas/technologies (journalism background is a plus).
- Native Android development experience is a huge plus.
