We are seeking a highly skilled Atlassian Migration Engineer to lead a digital transformation: moving our infrastructure from Jira Server/Data Center to Jira Cloud. This is not just an administrative role; we need a "Data Architect" who can dismantle complex legacy systems and rebuild them into a streamlined, high-performing Cloud environment.
- The ideal candidate is someone who bridges the gap between technical execution (API, Scripting) and strategic planning (Change Management, Stakeholder Communication).

- Proven Migration Experience: Hands-on experience with large-scale Jira Cloud migrations and instance consolidations.
- Atlassian Ecosystem Expert: Deep knowledge of Jira architecture, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Jira Service Management (JSM).
- Agile Proficiency: Solid experience working within Agile frameworks in enterprise-level environments.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to explain technical migration roadmaps to non-technical cross-functional stakeholders.

Must-have Skills
- Lead Complex Migrations: Own the end-to-end migration lifecycle from Jira Server/Data Center to Cloud.
- Instance Consolidation: Evaluate, merge, and clean up multiple Jira instances into a single, unified Cloud environment.
- Workflow & Architecture: Design and map custom workflows, permission schemes, and issue types to ensure business continuity post-migration.
- Data Integrity: Use Jira REST API, SQL, or JSON to extract, transform, and validate data, ensuring 100% accuracy during the transition.
- Automation: Replace legacy automations with "Automation for Jira" and utilize ScriptRunner (Groovy) or Python to streamline repetitive migration tasks.
- Strategic Planning: Build comprehensive Migration Runbooks, execute testing in Sandbox environments, and define robust Rollback procedures.
Nice-to-have Skills
- Scripting: Proficiency in Groovy (ScriptRunner), Python, or Bash for custom data manipulation.
- API Mastery: Advanced experience using Jira REST API for data validation and extraction.
- Change Management: Familiarity with enterprise change control processes and staging/sandbox workflows.
