About You and The Role
- Zipline is seeking Ground Systems Technicians who have sound judgment, excellent interpersonal skills and high standards. Success will require attention to detail, a safety-oriented attitude, flexibility, and enthusiasm for cutting-edge technology.
What You'll Do
- Install, configure, and commission ground systems installations at new and existing Zipline sites.
- Perform maintenance and upgrades with the goal of maximizing uptime and reliability.
- Work with engineering & cross-functional teams to document and resolve tickets.
- Manage accountability programs for tools, calibration equipment, and vehicles
- Maintain records of installations, surveys, maintenance actions, and troubleshooting steps.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, electrical standards, published manuals and SOPs.
- Successfully complete and continuously maintain all required training(s) and certifications.
What You'll Bring
- Basic Qualifications
- Basic knowledge: mechanical, electrical, and basic office software
- Attention to detail and compliance with installation standards and manuals
- Organizational skills, inventory management, material handling equipment, Mechanical/Electrical assembly experience
- Must be able to support shift work including, but not limited to days/evenings, weekends, etc. with travel up to 20%, as necessary
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.and have a valid US Driver's License
- Ability to lift and or move up to 55 pounds
- Preferred Qualifications
- Desired knowledge:General construction, Electrical and Electrical Systems (to include network/low voltage)
- Familiarity with material handling equipment (warehouse forklift, pallet jack)
- Adaptability to changing work environments, technologies, and procedures
- Ability to diagnose problems, develop and implement novel fixes to time-sensitive problems.
- Ability to read / interpret construction and technical drawings
- Familiarity with material handling equipment and/or aerial lifts (warehouse forklift, pallet jack, scissor lifts)
