PLM Analyst (Teamcenter Administration)

What you’ll be doing:
- System Administration
- Administer and maintain Siemens Teamcenter in a Windows server environment.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security roles.
- Monitor system health, performance, and integrations with CAD, Solidworks
- Apply patches, updates, and coordinate upgrades in alignment with vendor recommendations and IT security policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Teamcenter-related issues.
- Troubleshoot application and user issues, escalating to Siemens support when necessary.
- Develop and deliver user training and documentation to improve adoption and efficiency.
- Work directly with Siemens support on incident resolution, proactive maintenance, and roadmap planning.
- Support vendors and suppliers on Teamcenter integrations, ensuring smooth data exchange and compatibility with partner systems.
- Collaborate with external parties (suppliers, contractors, partners) to securely provision and manage access to the Teamcenter environment, following company security policies and compliance requirements.
- Partner with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to align Teamcenter capabilities with organizational needs.
- Provide input on PLM strategy, licensing, and integration planning.
- Ensure Teamcenter remains the authoritative source for engineering data, software, firmware, and documentation.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and industry standards.
- Support best practices in data management, workflow design, and lifecycle management.
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 3+ years of hands-on Teamcenter administration experience.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server administration
- Familiarity with CAD integrations (SolidWorks, OrCAD, NX) and version compatibility requirements.
- Experience with user training, technical documentation, and end-user support.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while managing vendor escalations effectively.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Teamcenter upgrades and migration projects (e.g., from legacy versions to supported releases).
- Understanding of PLM workflows, lifecycle management, and engineering change processes.
- Knowledge of database administration (Oracle/SQL Server) supporting Teamcenter.
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell or Python) for automation.
