What You'll Do:
- Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute strategic field marketing plans for the Japan region.
- Collaborate with APAC marketing managers to ensure all efforts are consistent with broader GTM (Go-to-Market) strategies and campaigns.
- Partner with the sales and alliance team to create targeted campaigns that generate new pipeline and accelerate existing pipeline.
- Event Management & Lead Generation:
- Plan and host online and in-person events to create new sales opportunities, accelerate existing deals, and strengthen customer relationships.
- Organize and execute corporate event such as "Inspire World Tour Tokyo" with the goal of attracting over 1,000 registrants.
- Focus on corporate events and lead generation to build and maintain the sales pipeline.
- Engage and support the existing customer base through community-building activities to foster growth and loyalty.
- Align cross-functionally with Product, Digital & Content Marketing on the go to market strategy for your region
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Regional Marketing Manager
- Experience with organizing local and regional events in Japan
- Proficient in Salesforce and marketing automation tools (preferably Marketo)
- Fluent Japanese with strong business-level English written and verbal communication skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Confident on a tradeshow booth to assist in our Product pitch
- High degree of initiative and organization to drive projects to completion. Able to multi-task/manage multiple projects without losing sight of the highest priority items
- A well-rounded, modern marketer, who is self-motivated and unafraid to take action
- Strong communicator and creative thinker
