Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead end to end AWS cloud infrastructure deployment and migration programs from discovery through stabilization, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.
- Govern migration waves including landing zones, applications, and data, coordinating execution across multiple teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Manage program delivery plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies while driving structured execution across complex, security controlled environments.
- Oversee cross functional teams of migration specialists, architects, and engineers to ensure successful transformation outcomes and operational readiness.
Qualifications and Skills
- 15+ years of experience in infrastructure, data center support, or cloud program or project management.
- At least 6 years leading large scale migrations from on premise environments to AWS, AWS OpenShift, or AWS Outposts.
- Proven experience managing full lifecycle cloud migration programs including planning, execution, and stabilization phases.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services such as Control Tower, EC2, VPC, IAM, and Migration Hub.
- Solid understanding of VMware environments, data replication, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
- Experience managing complex, multi vendor and multi stakeholder environments with strong governance practices.
- Ability to build and manage detailed project plans, define milestones, and control risks and dependencies.
- Experience working closely with AWS architects, security, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code teams.
- Strong change management expertise with the ability to operate effectively in evolving and ambiguous environments.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to engage senior leadership and client stakeholders.
