Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and implement enterprise grade OpenShift architectures to support containerized workloads across hybrid and cloud environments.
- Lead platform deployment, configuration, and optimization ensuring scalability, security, and high availability of OpenShift clusters.
- Define containerization and orchestration strategies, guiding application modernization and migration into Kubernetes or OpenShift ecosystems.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps teams to automate deployments and ensure integration with CI or CD pipelines and enterprise services.
Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience designing and managing Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes based platforms in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Experience deploying and managing OpenShift in hybrid environments including integration with AWS, on premise infrastructure, or cloud native services.
- Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Deep understanding of networking concepts, load balancing, ingress, and service mesh within container platforms.
- Experience implementing security controls, RBAC, identity integration, and compliance within OpenShift environments.
- Familiarity with CI or CD pipelines and DevOps practices supporting containerized application delivery.
- Experience supporting migration or modernization initiatives moving workloads to container platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills across cluster, application, and infrastructure layers.
- Ability to provide architectural governance, technical leadership, and mentorship to engineering teams.
