Engineering Manager, Design Systems

What you'll do
- Lead a cross-functional Design Systems pod, partnering closely with Design
- Own and evolve Fullscript’s design system across Web (React) and Mobile (React Native)
- Act as a strong advocate for systems thinking across the engineering organization
- Drive adoption of the design system through clear APIs, documentation, tooling, and enablement
- Set technical direction and standards for component architecture, theming, and accessibility
- Explore and integrate AI-assisted workflows and tools to enhance how the design system is built, used, and scaled
- Balance near-term delivery with long-term system health and extensibility
- Ensure the system supports product velocity while maintaining a high bar for UX quality

What you bring
- Experience growing and scaling a design system used by multiple teams
- Strong technical background with React and React Native
- A systems mindset and the ability to think beyond individual components
- Comfort moving between technical leadership, people management, and program execution
- Strong program and project management skills to coordinate work across stakeholders
- A clear point of view on how design systems should evolve in an AI-enabled future
- Proven ability to partner closely with Design and advocate for UX excellence
