We are seeking a passionate Talent Acquisition Partner to join our new hub in Lisbon. You will be primarily responsible for driving the recruitment of exceptional talent across our Product Development (PD) functions. This role requires a good understanding of the PD talent market and the ability to build strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers. You will also have the opportunity to support the wider Talent Acquisition team with hiring across other global locations.
- We operate a hybrid work model, and this role will be based in our brand-new Lisbon office for three days a week. You'll enjoy the best of both worlds: flexibility and the chance to collaborate in a brand new office environment with other GeeCees.
- End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of roles, from initial briefing to offer negotiation.
- Support Broader Hiring Needs: When required, support recruitment efforts across PD and other functions such as Finance, Legal, People, and Operations.
- Strategic Talent Sourcing: Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract top-tier talent, utilising a variety of channels including online platforms, professional networks, local communities, and events.
- Employer Branding & Outreach: Represent GoCardless, building relationships with potential candidates and promoting our employer value proposition through networking, meetups, and other initiatives.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand their talent needs, provide market insights, and ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience.
- Local Market Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of the local talent market, including compensation benchmarks, competitor activity, and emerging trends, to inform recruitment strategies.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the refinement of our recruitment processes and tools, ensuring efficiency, fairness, and a focus on candidate experience.
- Data-Driven Approach: Track and analyse key recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement and measure the effectiveness of your talent acquisition strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the wider global Talent Acquisition team, sharing best practices and contributing to global talent initiatives.

- Experience as an in-house Talent Acquisition Partner or Recruiter, with a track record of successfully hiring for Product Development roles (Software Development Engineers, Product Managers, etc.)
- Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle with direct sourcing skills and experience utilising various sourcing tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
