What You'll Do
- Lead with vision and pastoral care to help people grow in their journey of giving.
- Inspire faith-filled generosity that reflects trust in Jesus and fuels the mission of the Church.
- Implement relational, next-step strategies for first-time givers, large gift givers, disengaging, and lapsed givers.
- Conduct regular care check-ins with lapsed givers, offering pastoral support and encouragement.
- Personally celebrate generosity milestones and deepen engagement through intentional, personalized communication and care.
- Oversee the benevolence process with pastoral wisdom and strategic discernment.
- Steward benevolence resources with integrity, meeting real needs while remaining aligned with Life.Church values.
- Curate and share stories that connect giving and benevolence to life change, fueling a culture of generosity and compassion.
- Identify, recruit, and activate Legacy Team members globally, cultivating deep, meaningful relationships.
- Cast vision, share impact stories, and foster alignment around missional generosity.
- Grow and lead volunteer teams to extend pastoral care and scale strategic generosity initiatives.
- Design and lead discipleship pathways and vision-casting experiences for Legacy Team members and generosity volunteers.
- Host and lead development experiences such as Journey of Generosity, Generosity University, and Financial Peace University.
- Help individuals discern God’s call on their giving through scripture, storytelling, and community engagement.
- Design and implement scalable strategies to foster and sustain a culture of generosity.
- Use data, reports, and engagement metrics to inform strategic decision-making, guide ministry efforts, and celebrate growth.
- Curate and create impactful stories, devotionals, videos, and emails that connect generosity to life change and spiritual growth.
- Equip individuals with biblical understanding and practical resources to encourage financial freedom and a lifestyle of generosity.
Skills Needed to Succeed
- Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and solve problems with innovation
- Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes and foster partnerships
- Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects
- Strong pastoral leadership skills and understanding of developing and guiding others
- Organized, adaptive, and skilled in remote or digital ministry contexts
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in ministry, finance, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in pastoral leadership, donor development, or generosity ministry
- Experience with digital or remote ministry contexts
