Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary HR contact for all Global Capability Center (GCC) employees.
- Respond to day-to-day questions about leave, attendance, payroll, policies, benefits, remote work, and HR processes.
- Provide quick, reliable, and empathetic support to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Conduct consistent check-ins to understand employee well-being, workload, and challenges.
- Document conversations, track trends, and escalate issues when needed.
- Manage and track employee requests (pay raises, promotion discussions, policy clarifications, time-off approvals, role changes).
- Ensure all issues are triaged through ShyftLabs; not directly through client managers.
- Coordinate with HR & Operations leadership for escalations.
- Assist with day-to-day onboarding touchpoints, documentation collection, welcome communication, and orientation scheduling.
- Support smooth offboarding including notices, IT access removal, documentation, and exit feedback.
- Clearly communicate policy updates to GCC employees.
- Ensure adherence to attendance, leave, hybrid work, and performance expectations.
- Run periodic pulse surveys to monitor engagement.
- Support small-scale cultural or recognition initiatives to increase connection and retention.
- Lead annual performance reviews for GCC employees, ensuring expectations are met and feedback is continual.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records and lifecycle status (probation, promotions, renewals).
- Log employee conversations and maintain accurate documentation for audit purposes.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in HR coordination, HR operations, employee relations, or a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills: clear, professional, empathetic, and responsive.
- Highly organized and able to manage communication with 200+ employees.
- Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and comfort handling sensitive information.
- Strong understanding of HR processes within an Indian employment context is a plus.
- Previous experience working with a Global Capability Center (GCC) or consulting firm is highly preferred.
