What You'll Do
- Design and implement release strategies and configuration distribution models
- Define and enforce standards for development, configuration deployment, and environment management
- Build, test, and deploy configuration packages through automated CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
- Responsible for managing and synchronizing multiple project workstreams, proactively identifying and mitigating risks arising from cross-project dependencies
- Create and maintain Vault sandbox environments for production, QA, and development purposes
- Serve as a subject matter expert to help establish environment management strategies for new customers
- Analyze and propose optimal deployment solutions for new product features
- Collaborate with the developer teams, and support their work
- Contribute to internal projects by developing innovative tools to improve deployment quality, efficiency, and speed
- Deliver knowledge transfers and provide ad-hoc training to customer teams
Requirements
- Experience & Education:
- 2+ years of professional experience in software development, DevOps, or a similar technical role
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience in full lifecycle software implementation projects
- Candidates must be eligible for employment in Europe
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Solid understanding of the following:
- Relational databases
- API principles and web services
- Continuous Integration (CI/CD) pipelines
- XML
- Package automation and deployment
- Qualities & Communication:
- A passion for technology and a drive to solve complex challenges
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to support technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Direct experience designing or working within a cloud-native architecture (AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) and its associated tools, such as Jenkins, Selenium, and GitHub
- Practical programming and code-reviewing skills, particularly with languages like Python, Java, or Shell scripting
- Proven experience building or integrating with RESTful APIs
