You will...

  • - Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and reclassifications.
  • - Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances.
  • - Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • - Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice review, coding, and payment processing.
  • - Support payroll accounting and related reconciliations.
  • - Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations.
  • - Assist with audit preparation, including supporting schedules and documentation.
  • - Help maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • - Collaborate with FP&A, HR, purchasing and other teams to support reporting and operational needs.
  • - Participate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.

Qualifications

  • - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • - 1–3+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or high-growth company experience a plus).
  • - Strong understanding of US GAAP fundamentals.
  • - Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations.
  • - Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
  • - Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or QuickBooks is a plus.
  • - Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • - Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Bonus

  • - CPA or CPA-eligible.
  • - Experience in a technology, SaaS, or startup environment.
  • - Exposure to audits, SOX, or internal controls.
  • - Experience with AP tools, expense systems, or close management software.
