- - Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and reclassifications.
- - Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances.
- - Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- - Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice review, coding, and payment processing.
- - Support payroll accounting and related reconciliations.
- - Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations.
- - Assist with audit preparation, including supporting schedules and documentation.
- - Help maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- - Collaborate with FP&A, HR, purchasing and other teams to support reporting and operational needs.
- - Participate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.
Qualifications
- - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- - 1–3+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or high-growth company experience a plus).
- - Strong understanding of US GAAP fundamentals.
- - Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations.
- - Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
- - Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or QuickBooks is a plus.
- - Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- - Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
