Qualifications
- Active PE license in California (required)
- Active or eligible PE license in Hawaii (preferred)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in engineering coordination, project delivery, or construction oversight
- Working knowledge of California Building Code and related standards (CBC, IBC, ASCE 7)
- Understanding of seismic, coastal, and site development requirements
- Familiarity with prefabrication or modular construction methods
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with proven experience managing consultants and agency interactions
- Proficiency in relevant tools such as AutoCAD and MS Project (or equivalent)
Preferred
- Experience in residential, modular, or factory-built construction
- Familiarity with jurisdictional permitting processes in Los Angeles County or Hawaii
- Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-discipline projects through all stages of design and construction
