Requirements
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Good analytical skills, and ability to work out creative solutions in a problem-solving environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with less supervision.
- Sound knowledge about the commonly used Structural Analysis software solutions (like - STAAD.Pro, ETABS, and other related solutions)
- Knowledge about structural design methodologiesExcellent historical memory
- Basic familiarity of programming constructs (eg - for/if/while in any language)
- Knowledge of structural analysis methodologies/dynamic analysis
- Knowledge of wind and seismic load generation as per various International loading codes
Key Responsibilities
- Understand product requirements, and prepare test cases and checklists for validation of the software
- Be the Quality Control (QC) reference inside an assigned Scrum Team, thus join all the events (Planning, Daily, Review, Retrospective)
- Support the Product Owner in the identification of the corner cases and missing requirements
- Prepare a hand calculation for the validation of different structural analysis and design-related modules
- Design and execute functional testing on the software product incrementally
- Verify iteratively that functionality does not degrade
- Detect, document, report, and assess the encountered bugs
- Work with the developers to identify which use cases must be automated
- Provide strong technical leadership with a focus on continuous improvement
