About Anthropic
- Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
- The Creative Studio is Anthropic’s in-house creative team responsible for the brand expression across Anthropic and Claude. We care about craft, making things by hand and using AI when it makes sense. The team is growing, and we’re looking for people who do excellent work to join us. The stakes are real, and there’s room to shape what all this becomes.
About the role
- We're looking for a Presentation Design Lead to manage the presentation design function at Anthropic. You'll work on presentations for both external and internal audiences, shaping how we tell our story and express our brand through visual storytelling.
- You'll shape how our ideas land on the stage and screen. That means deeply understanding content strategy and brand narrative, translating complex concepts into visual storytelling, and art directing with a sharp eye for motion design. You'll know how to bring our product to life—whether through live demos, pre-recorded video, or live action—and you'll be comfortable doing this work right alongside C-suite stakeholders in fast-moving, high-stakes environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead presentation design across the company, setting the creative bar for how Anthropic shows up in keynotes, events, product launches, internal communications, and executive-level presentations.
- Art direct and design presentations that bring our products and ideas to life, including demo environments, pre-designed motion sequences, and motion design.
- Partner on content strategy and brand storytelling through visual design, ensuring every presentation tells a clear, compelling narrative.
- Partner directly with executives and senior leadership to design and deliver presentation content under tight timelines and evolving requirements.
- Establish and maintain design systems, templates, and guidelines for presentation design across the organization.
- Hire and manage designers and contractors, and collaborate effectively with external agencies to scale output without compromising quality.
You may be a good fit if you
- Have 10+ years experience leading presentation design with a strong portfolio of keynote and executive presentation work.
- Are proficient in art direction for motion design, with a high bar for visual storytelling and brand expression.
- Have direct experience working with C-level executives, translating their ideas and feedback into polished, high-impact presentations.
- Thrive under fast-changing conditions and are comfortable with last-minute pivots, live environments, and high-pressure timelines.
- Have experience bringing products to life in keynote settings, including live demos and pre-designed motion scenarios.
- Have a track record of managing and mentoring designers and contractors, and partnering productively with agencies.
- Bring deep craft sensibility and a genuine passion for elevating the quality of visual communication.
- The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
- For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
How we're different
- We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
- The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
