What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Partnership:
  • Proactively manage and consult with corporate leadership team, and employees to understand business goals to develop and/or execute against HR strategies that support their work and ability to be successful.
  • Talent Management:
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Talent Strategy COE’s to support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for corporate departments.
  • Performance & Development – partner with team to oversee and coordinate annual performance review process, talent development and succession planning where needed.
  • HR Metrics & Analysis – Help monitor KPI’s like turnover and employee satisfaction and engagement to support follow-up actions that enhance improvement across corporate teams.
  • Employee Relations & Culture:
  • Serve as liaison to manage grievances and sensitive employee relations issues, underperformance cases, ensuring fair and prompt resolution which foster a positive work environment.
  • Policy Compliance & Culture:
  • Enforce, implement and educate on HR policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with employment laws (state, federal, local).

What You Will Bring to Coupa:

  • 5+ years of direct HRBP experience preferably supporting corporate or business functions in a high-growth, matrixed organization.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of HR’s Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Total Rewards/Benefits).
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, MS Suite, Google Suite or similar
  • Strong interpersonal, consulting, advisory, customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to articulate and present HR philosophy, methodology and process across all employee levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to use people data and analytics (e.g., turnover rates by tenure/region/performance level, time-to-fill for sales roles) to diagnose organizational health and influence leadership decisions.
  • Proven ability to quickly build trust and credibility with fast-paced, results-oriented leaders.
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex HR policies into practical, business-focused solutions for a non-HR audience, particularly in the context of performance and compensation.
