As one of our Immigration Director, Latin America, you will be required to:
- Serves as the lead for the LATAM region
- Develop the immigration program for LATAM region, focusing on the main countries
- Advise strategy for complex matters
- Build strong relationship with new and existing clients
- Work closely with Account Manager, Sales and Business Development teams to identify opportunities
- and grow the business
- Serves as point of escalation
- Communicate with immigration authorities to clarify guidance notes/request application update and/or
- Escalate applications when immigration authorities fails to meet its processing standard/withdraw applications and/or request refund of government fees
- Manage team’s continuing professional development and assesses training requirements
- Review case assessments and initiations to ensure optimal caseload
- Work closely with the leadership team on region structure and resourcing (headcount)
- Manages the P&L of the practice
- Advise changes to immigration rules to news team and support any ad hoc reporting
To apply for this role, you must possess the following skills, experience, attributes, and qualifications:
- Minimum 10+ years of immigration experience
- Minimum 5+ years of immigration manager experience in the LATAM region
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to interact and communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to manage a team
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Excellent time management, and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Capacity to prioritize, manage and execute multiple tasks
- Oral and written proficiency in English
- Knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese is essential
