Intro

  • Envoy Global is a proven innovator in the global immigration space. Our mission combines our industry-leading tech platform with holistic service to streamline, simplify and expedite the immigration process for employers and individuals.

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner with strong working knowledge of U.S. and global immigration processes and expertise in product/process configuration. This role will lead the design, refinement, and continuous optimization of configurable immigration workflows, rules engines, case types, templates, and compliance frameworks within our product ecosystem.

  • The Product Owner will collaborate closely with engineering, legal/immigration experts, operations, and customer success teams to ensure our platform delivers accurate, compliant, and scalable immigration solutions for multinational clients.

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and maintain the product configuration roadmap for global immigration modules, workflows, and rules frameworks.
  • Translate immigration policy changes (USCIS, DOL, consulates, global government agencies) into product requirements and configuration updates.
  • Conduct market and regulatory research to anticipate changes affecting immigration case management and compliance automation.

Backlog & Requirements Management

  • Own and prioritize the product configuration backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and configuration specifications for immigration case types, document requirements, questionnaires, rule engines, and compliance triggers.
  • Manage configuration releases and ensure stable deployment of updates across regional immigration products.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the product subject matter expert for immigration workflows—including U.S. (H‑1B, PERM, I‑140, Adjustment of Status, NIV, etc.) and global mobility programs.
  • Partner with immigration attorneys, paralegals, and compliance specialists to validate requirements and ensure legal accuracy.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to refine requirements, support sprint planning, and ensure quality delivery.

Configuration Governance & Quality

  • Establish configuration standards, governance processes, and version controls across products.
  • Validate that configurations meet accuracy, compliance, and usability standards through testing and stakeholder reviews.
  • Monitor performance of configured workflows and implement improvements to reduce cycle times and error rates.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the liaison between customer-facing teams and engineering for configuration-related enhancements.
  • Understand customer needs across corporate mobility, HR, talent acquisition, and immigration service partners, translating them into scalable product configurations.
  • Support customer migrations, onboarding, and adoption of new case types or workflow enhancements.

To apply for this role, you should possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. immigration (non‑immigrant, immigrant, PERM, compliance processes).
  • Familiarity with global immigration frameworks, including corporate mobility, work authorization, and document requirements across multiple regions.
  • Hands-on experience with rules engines, product configuration, XML/JSON templates, or dynamic forms.
  • Proven ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into structured product logic and workflows.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • 4 to 8 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Configuration Specialist in SaaS, enterprise platforms, or workflow-heavy products.
  • Experience in immigration technology platforms or global mobility solutions.
  • Prior experience working with legal operations, immigration attorneys, or global workforce compliance teams.
  • Knowledge of localization, country-specific document generation, and compliance automation.
  • Exposure to UX design principles for form-based workflows.
