Job Overview
- This role is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory records. This role plays a critical part in the supply chain by ensuring materials, parts, and products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Support all activities related to inbound shipments, to include unloading deliveries from trailers to the dock (using a hand truck and/or forklift), handling heavy equipment unloads, segregating inbound material into direct and indirect categories, and staging of material within the facility in support of all external teams.
- Support the Production Control team with material moves in support of quality inspection, putaway actions, and material issues in support of all production teams.
- Provide assistance to Harbinger employees when preparing outbound parcel and freight shipments that are processed through the appropriate Shipment Request form.
- Assist the Shipping & Receiving and Production Control teams with clearing out dunnage and removing empty boxes and crates from the inbound dock.
- Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems is a plus.
Who You Are
- Familiarity with spreadsheets (excel/google sheets)
- Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems.
- Experience supporting warehouse and production functions within a high paced organization, preferably in automotive, aerospace, or other related industries.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root cause issues, and recommend solutions.
- Lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.
- Able to walk, stand, crouch, bench, kneel, lift, carry and reach as needed in large and tight spaces.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word systems excel and other systems for work instructions creation.
- English communication skills (oral and written).
Hours
- This role is assigned to Shift 2 / standard hours (4:00pm - 12:30am)
- California Pay Range
- $25 - $32 USD
