Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the completion of projects: Develop educational materials and resources that include policies, standards, and best practices to internal and external stakeholders. Track feedback and use insights generated to share within the Education & Outreach team to improve current educational materials.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams: Provide direct educational support to internal teams across Hinge and MG responsible for content moderation, support, appeals, or global escalations. This includes the follow through of assigned projects, along with the development of ad hoc education or outreach upon request from Hinge stakeholders.
  • Scale and Improve internal education: Collaborate within Education & Outreach, along with Operations, Policy, and Product Leads to ensure all materials provided to users and agents reflect our current policies and product offerings and meet regulatory, and legal standards. Regularly meet with stakeholders across Operations, Product, and Policy to understand potential updates and work with Education & Outreach to develop materials appropriate for any changes.

What We’re Looking For

  • The ideal candidate should have 1+ years of relevant work in a training role, account management, client services, product, or Trust & Safety. This includes experience interfacing with Operations, Product, Communications, Marketing, or Legal partners as well as experience in developing processes for operational excellence within their organization.
  • Effective communication is crucial in this role. You have excellent communication skills, and be able to articulate complex concepts clearly and succinctly to internal stakeholders who may not be familiar with Hinge or with dating Apps.
  • A willingness to learn and remain deeply curious about our users and their needs, while also partnering across stakeholders to challenge assumptions, understand problem sets in detail, and confidence to seek other inputs to supplement experiential and cultural knowledge gaps. The ideal candidate should have a "no task is too small" attitude and a willingness to dive into the details to move projects along and solve complex problems. You enjoy working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • You are able to use data sourced from a variety of internal and external resources to identify trends, and suggest strategies to improve our internal Education efforts.
  • You are passionate about supporting users around the world, regardless of personal experience with specific regional norms, expectations or culture. You have a deep understanding of user expectations, and make every decision with the user at the forefront.
