You will own and lead:
- Vertical narrative & positioning:
- Define and elevate the Banking & FI narrative — crafting differentiated messaging across real-time payouts, local collections, FX/treasury, multi-currency accounts, global account verification, and our compliance/licensing footprint.
- Your work should sharpen competitive clarity, accelerate conversion, and strengthen segment-specific ACV growth.
- Product GTM & launch excellence:
- Partner deeply with Product to shape GTM strategy, value propositions, and commercialization for FI-focused capabilities.
- Translate complex technical functionality into clear, compelling stories that resonate with senior payments, treasury, operations, and compliance leaders.
- Success is measured by launch quality, adoption, and deal acceleration.
- Buyer insights & competitive intelligence:
- Build a deep understanding of how banks and FIs evaluate, integrate, and scale global money-movement solutions.
- Map buyer personas, use cases, and workflows; synthesize market trends and competitive insights; and feed recommendations into product direction and GTM priorities.
- Your insights should materially inform strategy and improve win rates.
- Sales enablement & commercial partnership
- Build high-impact sales assets to improve sales readiness and deal velocity: pitch decks, solution narratives, competitive briefs, and objection handling tailored to FI buyers.
- Partner with Sales Leadership and RevOps to align vertical strategy and refine go-to-market plays, accelerate active strategic deals, and improve win rates.
- Customer stories, proofpoints & industry validation
- Amplify customer evidence, industry validation, and real-world impact through FI-specific proofpoints, case studies, and measurable outcomes.
- Gather and synthesize regional insights from markets with established presence and adapt them for emerging regions to strengthen global traction.
- Strengthen enterprise trust and social proof in the Banking/FI vertical.
- Cross-functional leadership & future team building
- Operate as the senior PMM for one of Nium’s top-priority segments, collaborating with Product, Sales, Brand, RevOps, Content, and Regional Marketing.
- Establish the foundation for a future FI-focused PMM team, ensuring scalable processes, consistent messaging, and measurable business impact.
Requirements
- 10+ years in product marketing, vertical marketing or GTM roles covering payments, fintech infrastructure, banking tech, or financial systems
- Experience marketing to banks, financial institutions, PSPs, or regulated financial infrastructure buyers.
- Demonstrated ability to translate highly technical capabilities (real-time payouts, treasury/FX, compliance, multi-currency accounts) into compelling narratives for senior banking decision-makers.
- Proven success crafting global positioning, GTM strategies, and competitive differentiation in a complex, multi-product environment.
- Deep partnership track record with Product, Sales, and RevOps — comfortable driving alignment in highly cross-functional teams.
- Strong data orientation: able to synthesize market intelligence, competitive analysis, and buyer insights into clear vertical strategies.
- Ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution, and comfort operating as a strategic IC while building toward future team growth.
- Exceptional communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience working with global/regional teams across the US, UK/Europe, APAC, or Middle East with sensitivity to geographic nuances.
