RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Translate scientific concepts, findings, and product innovations into clear, engaging content tailored for diverse audiences and distribution channels.
  • Synthesize peer-reviewed literature and internal analyses into evidence-based narratives aligned with WHOOP’s brand voice and scientific integrity.
  • Analyze complex datasets to extract insights that support health- and performance-focused communications.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to ensure scientific accuracy, appropriate sourcing, and effective positioning.
  • Support scientific publishing efforts, including manuscript drafting, editing, and submission coordination.
  • Partner with design and multimedia teams to enhance scientific storytelling through data-driven visuals and creative assets.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline such as physiology, exercise physiology, psycho-physiology, or biomedical science.
  • Proven experience translating scientific research and data into compelling, accessible content for broad audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience working with complex datasets, with proficiency in SQL and R or Python for data analysis and visualization
  • Strong research skills with the ability to critically evaluate and synthesize peer-reviewed literature.
  • Experience contributing to or supporting peer-reviewed publications and manuscript development.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, digital publishing platforms, and SEO best practices.
  • Experience in health, fitness, performance, or wearable technology sectors.
  • Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.
