Responsibilities:
- Measure, characterize in-depth, and fine tune quantum circuits and quantum gates.
- Carry in-depth analysis of experimental data to improve our theoretical modeling.
- Drive new circuit / gate designs and measurement methods from ideas to experimental validation and integration in cat-qubit quantum processors
- Contribute to the improvement of the experimental setups and tools.
- Contribute to the expansion of the knowledge base of Alice & Bob and the continuous training of junior experimentalists.
- Report on experimental results internally and externally.
- Manage external collaborations.
Requirements:
- We are looking for postdoc level scientists or Phd with 2+ years of experience of experimental work in quantum mechanics, preferably in the field of superconducting quantum circuits.
- Microwave control and measurement of superconducting quantum circuits
- Data analysis and comparison to theory or numerical simulations (preferably with Python)
- Circuit design and simulation
- Quantum gate design and benchmarking
- Quantum error correction protocols
- Scientific Writing
